Assuming you are taking an airplane for your trip; perhaps you should call the airline 800 number and ask them. Often a cheaper rate can be gotten also the farther from your flight date you get your reservation too. Good luck.

Maybe not if they close and shut down the Norwich Airport within that time period.
I don't know where you hail from but airlins in the USA its always more expensive flying one way to location and then purchasing another one way ticket back to original location. Round trip tickets are always cheaper, and as far as I know, there's not a regulation as when you return, just as long as the return date is recorded on the ticket. (speculation) Call the airline or agent and ask them, different policies, different airlines.
