    can you thicken a chockcherry jelly recipe if the pectin did not work

    Yes by blending in cooked organic crabapples or apples, puree'd and filtered...re-heat the jelly and add in the clear apple juice as it contains a high amount of natural pectin...bring it up to temp and do the droplet running off the spoon method to test for readyness...then pour into sanitized/sterilized jars to cool and set....enjoy.
