What am I s'posed to give the earth>?? I planted 4 tomato plants today. Is that giving to the earth? Isn't the earth our resources? Aren't we just as much part of the earth as earth itself? aren't we earthlings?

You talk about this planet we stand on as if it were a person, its what we are, people destroy the earth by getting in its way thinking they are going to help it. as we know, the earth is 4.5 billion years old, I feel secure in saying that if we weren't supposed to be here we wouldn't be here. All that we consume returns to earth, as organic or mineral matter. Everything we build returns to the earth in one form or another and then 'earth' consumes it. 4.5 billion years, I doubt that we are hurting it.. So much misinformation feeding young today.. You need to realize just how insignificant we are in the mass of things around us. We are not taking from the earth, we are the earth!!
