      Sheesh! I called my mom by her first name. I loved and respected her. I just liked her name A LOT. It was Margaret. My daughter's middle name. It was fine with her.


      By the way, how old is your daughter. I didn't start the first-name thing till I was 18 or so.

        I called my mum by her first name (Ivy)Not thru any lack of respect on my part I just liked the name.
        BTW Itsmee,Margaret is my wife's name also my Grandmother's (Paternal)

        when my daughter was born around christmas time ... i hollered out "Is it the Holly or the Ivy!!!"

        Of course I meant "Is it a boy or girl?" but after they gave me some lovely med ... well, you know. : D
