VERY CAREFULLY lol. you can obtain a implement from a vet  - its like a straw you put it in the cats mouth and blow providing you are giving it a tablet or as Benchong suggested in its food.

Mix it with its food, I suppose.

  The best way is what bullitman has said is to go to your vet and get a Pill Despencer I use them for my cats and for years I use to fight with them get bitten and scratched if you havent got one and you do need to get the tablet down the throat is to wrap the cat in a towel and leave the head exsposed and you will need two people for this get the cat on the floor with the cat in between your legs as you will be on the floor on your knees, towel wrapped round cat and open mouth of cat and pop in tablet and keep mouth shut and gently rub throat and this will make them swallow you will need alot of luck be patient and you will get there hope your cat will bw ok soon

I have found that with cats and meds if at all possible get in liquid form and use the type syringe that they give small children liquid meds with.  Works best for me with mine.
