What a horrible question, because you have the doubt and suspicion that someone who alleges to love you might be tormenting you.

I don't have a partner at this point (apparently God doesn't think I'm ready for a good, single Christian man in my life yet....sigh).  BUT, I think I could offer some thoughts on the mind games thing.....

If you are wondering about it, make a list of WHY you are wondering.  What is your partner doing or saying to cause you to be suspicious.  THEN think about WHY your partner would be doing or saying whatever.  Follow the why back as far as you can.  I know this sounds tedious and pointless, but maybe, just maybe, you are manifesting the whole idea in your own mind. Your partner could be behaving the same as always, with no "agenda", content and happy in the relationship with you and YOU have planted some evil seed in your own mind.

I recently crippled a valued friendship by doing this, and I really hope you don't do the same thing by confronting your partner based on unverified suspicion.
