    Bombard or overwhelm the person?

When a thing snowballs, it becomes increasingly "more".   A friend decides to participate in a fund-raiser cancer walk.  She tells her family and friends, and many of them decide to participate also. Before long, there is a group of 47 people who are going to walk together.  That is an example of something snowballing.

When you snowball someone, you overwhelm that person by not allowing him a chance to speak or act.  He is actually "forced" to go alon with whatever you want.
