    we live about a 1000 feet from the water in clinton, ct. what should we do to prepare for this storm?

    should we evacuate?  we are going to put masking tape on our windows and we have a big generator, but we are not sure as far as flooding our house.

          we live about a 1000 ft. from the marina in clinton Ct. and we are not sure as far as what to do with preparation. we couldn't get any plywood, but we got masking tape for our windows. we are very worried about out basement and house flooding.
