    How to edit a chart in powerpoint

    Open the Microsoft Excel 2007 document that contains the chart or graph.

    Select the chart and press the "Copy" button under the "Home" tab.

    Open the Microsoft PowerPoint document where you want to insert the chart or graph.

    Click on the slide where you want to insert the chart or graph and press the "Paste" button from the "Home" tab.

    Click on the chart or graph on the slide.

    Click on the "Design" tab from the "Chart Tools" group.

    Click the "Edit Data" button and a mini-spreadsheet will open.

    Edit the appropriate data cells, press "ENTER" to save the changes and close the spreadsheet with close button in the upper right-hand corner.
