    WIKIPEDIA:

God is often conceived as the Supreme Being and principal object of faith.[1] In theism, God is the creator and sustainer of the universe. In deism, God is the creator (but not the sustainer) of the universe. In pantheism, God is the universe itself. Theologians have ascribed a variety of attributes to the many different conceptions of God. Common among these are omniscience (infinite knowledge), omnipotence (unlimited power), omnipresence (present everywhere), omnibenevolence (perfect goodness), divine simplicity, and eternal and necessary existence. Monotheism is the belief in the existence of one God or in the oneness of God. God has also been conceived as being incorporeal (immaterial), a personal being, the source of all moral obligation, and the "greatest conceivable existent".[1] Many notable medieval philosophers and modern philosophers have developed arguments for and against the existence of God.[2]
There are many names for God, and different names are attached to different cultural ideas about who God is and what attributes he possesses. In the ancient Egyptian era of Atenism, possibly the earliest recorded monotheistic religion premised on there being one "true" Supreme Being and Creator of the Universe,[3] this deity is called Aten.[4] In the Hebrew Bible "I Am that I Am", and the "Tetragrammaton" YHVH are used as names of God, while Yahweh, and Jehovah are sometimes used in Christianity as vocalizations of YHVH. In Arabic, the name Allah ("the God") is used, and because of the predominance of Islam among Arab speakers, the name "Allah" in English and other Western languages has connotations with Islamic faith and culture. Muslims regard a multitude of titular names for God, while in Judaism it is common to refer to God by the titular names Elohim or Adonai, the latter of which is believed by some scholars to descend from the Egyptian Aten.[5][6][7][8][9][10] In Hinduism, Brahman is often considered a monistic deity.[11] Other religions have names for God, for instance, Baha in the Bahá'í Faith,[12] Waheguru in Sikhism,[13] and Ahura Mazda in Zoroastrianism.[14]
The many different conceptions of God, and competing claims as to God's characteristics, aims, and actions, has led to the development of ideas of Omnitheism, Pandeism,[15][16] or a Perennial philosophy, wherein it is supposed that there is one underlying theological truth, of which all religions express a partial understanding, and as to which "the devout in the various great world religions are in fact worshipping that one God, but through different, overlapping concepts or mental images of him."[17]

God, or a god, is different for everybody.  My best hopes for you in finding Him for yourself.

Everyone...to some extent, believes there is a god. Not all believe in the same God. One thing that IS for sure, is that we all carry a PART of ANY God you may believe to be YOUR God within ourselves.DNA has proved it,however, scientists have yet to admit the obvious.Science is all about facts...but there are scientists who simply WON'T reveal certain facts fearing they may lose funding's for their causes that they were originally funded for. They simply don't want the attention of the media and public, which may compromise their job.                                                                                                I don't know of any religion that might agree with MY theory, however,no one should be preached someone else's beliefs only because there are too many, and if you just so happen to choose the "wrong"one...THEY say you could go to hell...I DO believe in God...and in a very spiritual way. And as far as DNA is concerned...adds to proof there is a God...MY God...YOUR God...there are no different gods for different people...just the one within all of us. Some will say, look into they eyes of a child...you see God.Others say look into the eyes of a dying person...you see God. I believe when you look into any ones eyes...you see God. We are all God's children. I think I've gone on long enough to raise questions about what the scientists of this world (about DNA) are NOT totally upfront about. The truth will be revealed before long...as is all truths. Some one once said...God helps them who helps themselves. Makes good sense, now...after reading this! Think about it!...

Yes, Humans do have a God gene in us. Virtually all cultures, civilized or not, recognise a greater power, a creator, a supreme being.

God is the creator of us and everything out there in the universe........That includes  " paralell universes " if you're into that theory . God is the end all and and be all. God loves each and every one of us. We are his children. He is our heavenly father. God has no beginning and  no end.
