      YES THEY CAN.  IT IS REALLY FUNNY SHEN IT GETS STUCK TO THE TOP OF THEIR MOUTH.

        I have a very old dog whom I give fish oil pills to every day for his heart. I dip the pill in the peanut butter and then give it to him. The peanut butter makes the pill taste good so he will swallow it.
