I have a Garmin like yours. Those downloads of maps don't cost anything once you've bought the Garmin. You get a map of N.America. Look at the site again. It shows you a pic of someone plugging in his garmin into his comptuer while it's online. That means you're supposed to do that to download maps. One thing I don't like about the Garmin, is that it comes with no directions. So , you think all the directions will be online, but they're not. You actually just have to put it into your car, and start pushing buttons to program in the address of where you're going.If all else fails, call the company to ask them how to download those maps.
