    Can a cement basement be sealer so it won't seap in water on an older home?

    it would be very hard to seal a floor from the inside,,,if you only seal it from the inside,,the water level will only rise above the seal,,you would have to seal from the outside and run the water away,,,,,,,,

    There are things like Water Lock paint which can help, I have used this after filling the cracks in a cement wall with another hydrologic cement product.  It ended the nuisance wet area in a cellar of my home.  

    A friend turned his leaky cellar into a swimming pool, rather neatly and did a very nice job of it. The pool is insulated and heated with solar heat in the summer and on days when the temp goes over the pool temp. Cut a big chunk out of his electric bills and helps to heat there house in winter.
