          My mom gave away both my dogs when I was a kid. .......but not both at the  same time. We had a wonderful water  spaniel for a year or two, and she gave him away. Then, we got a female part boxer, adn she gave her away too. I'm sitll resentful about that !  They wouldn't let us have any other dogs after that. And no cats !   My dad didn't like cats.  :-(

                Our last child is 45.She will never leave home.The dog was 17.But I was alive long befire all of that.:)Thanks Julie.
