Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the Firefox browser window and select "Options." This opens a new windows for Firefox settings.

Uncheck the selection "Remember what I enter in forms and in the search bar" in the "History" section.
Click the "Clear Now" button in the "Private Data" section. This clears the current information that is saved.
Click the "OK" button.
