In order to clean up a toolbar, right click on any apps showing on the toolbar that you do not want and select delete. The go to Tools > addons or extensions and disable any programs you find there that you no longer use or do not know. Next, go to your favorites or bookmarks and right click on any stored favorites that you no longer need and delete.
