Be sure you know the correct sales tax rate for your area before beginning the following instructions.
TEC MA/FS 1650 1450 1350
*This tax change procedure should only be run after all reports have been run.
1. Sign off (if required)
2. Turn Key to Blind Positions (1 click past “Z”)
3. Power off register
4. Hold down the #3 key and turn the power back on
5. Turn key to set position
6. Enter 0
7. Press TX1/M Key
8. Press ST key
9. Enter Tax Rate with decimal point (for 8.5% enter 8.5)
10. Press AT/TL
