what can I use to clean very sticky/dirty kitchen cabinets?

They are natural oak, with a heavy grain. They are in a rental unit, and the tennants never cleaned them. Now, they are excessively dirty. I need something heavy duty, but not so much as to take the finish off. HELP!

I use Murphy's oil soap in hot water, works great...

A petroleum product made for cleaning is the ticket. Scrub with it and then wipe down. Wash the surface with dawn dish washing detergent………...

I know how to clean but I don’t. I’ll track through the dust. I’m lazy!

Cillet  Bang is the best alround cleaner on the market,

Goo Gone Spray  and Goo Gone wipes.............It's something similar to Murphys Oil Soap.......like Bustie said.
