    Can I use my 401(k) as collateral for a secured loan?

    The feeling here is that you cannot use your retirement account as collateral for a loan.  You could make a withdrawal under certain circumstances, however.  I am pretty sure I am correct but please check.

    It would be better to ask the place from where you are getting the loan.
