    what does a microprocessor ib5 mean

    I have this ib5 I bought everyone says this and that what really does ib5 mean please

    It is not an ib5, it is an i5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Core_i5_microprocessors


    It's part of Intel's dual core processor line. i stands for Intel and 5 is the range or level of the processor according to it's performance and capabilities. There are 3 ranges, low, medium and high. There are 3 cores in the i series: i3, i5, and i7.
