On your computer, right click on the speaker icon located bottom right corner of your screen. Click on "open volume mixer" or what is similar to that phrase. Make sure none of the speaker icons on that page have a circle with a red hash line through it. If you see this, then that speaker is muted. Click the speaker to un-mute it. Look for the computer's speaker (should be the first one) make sure it is enabled for the correct sound system you are using for the computer. If you use external speakers, make sure they are selected. Make sure your sound is up.
