We are afraid our female cat has mange. She is under a year and she was homeless.

We are all breaking out with itchy bumps. What do we do?

Mange is a contagious skin disease caused by several species of mites. Infested animals suffer alopecia(loss of hair). and pruritis(redness and itchiness with intense hypersensitivity  and irritation which can lead to debilitation and possibly death. Does need to go to the vet - but these signs should be obvious - skin scrapings will confirm diagnosis at the Vet's surgery.

I would have thought that was an easy thing to answer. Take the cat to the vet and you see a doctor.

Poor puss, best thing to do, take the  cat to Vet.      ASAP.
