    My wallet was stolen and i lost my id and ssc, how can i get a new one.

    I have my birth certificate, however they said at the social security office that i need a proof of id to get my social security card. Well to get my id i need my social security card, is there anything i can do.

    Take you birth certificate to the Social Security office and tell them what your SS# is, and they will handle it for you.

    For future troubles you need to document the theft with the police. Its called making a police report,this will count a lot if you ever end up in court. Next go to a notary and have a statement prepared regarding the theft ,then with a copy of the police report mail as a registered letter to all three credit bureaus . Retain copies of all this paper work to show in court in the event you have identity theft issues. You must prove that you took some kind of action to report the theft . Put some security measures on access to your credit history. Perhaps they can advise you about that .
