    nerve block for neck pain?

    No...there is no such thing as blocking nerves in the neck...there are surgeries but these usually involve discectomy or fusion. Best to exercise and strengthen the neck..water therapy/swimming and strength training will help the pain subside but you must be diligent. It takes time. Painkillers only get rid of about 30% of pain so it is easy to get hooked on taking too many but then you are high and just don't care about the pain...so managing meds is a good idea...see a pain specialist if you must and avoid street drugs and self-medicating as that will get you in a pickle for sure...see a good Doctor for bad pain !!
