    Yes, very.  Don't share anything!

Yes.  Don't rub your eyes.  Go to your doctor without delay.

Pink eye, or conjunctivitis to give it its medical name, is highly contagious and can spread from one eye to the other, and all around the family

its a form of herpes and yes it is very contagious

If you mean the white of the eye(sclera) is pink this is probably conjunctivitis - it is not usually contagious unless very acute i.e. with purulent discharge do not share towels. See Doc and get eye drops or ointment to instill or apply for about seven days - usually treat both eyes. When you instill drops pull down outer part of eye and instill the amount of drops directed - if you instill drops into the inner part of the eye some solution is lost as it goes down the tear or lacrimal duct

This can be irritating and painful do not rub eyesas Benchong says - bathe to soothe in between drops with a saline solution this is what our bodies are made up of and will not sting - To make this one teaspoon to a pint of boiled warm water again from inside the eye to out or use an eyebath.
