Yup, you need to know the location of the motel..example: Washigton,DC  & if you know what chain you want- example motel 6  then you can google motel 6 mtels in washington, dc.......don't care what chain google motels in washington, dc.............expedia.com, kayak.com, and orbitz.com are three of many websites that offer discount rates on hotels and motels.
