In a lot of movies, non-white actors and actresses have historically been portrayed as dumb, villianous, criminal, and incompetent people.  Very seldom do I see African American or Hispanic people being portrayed as the very top notched scientists or extremely educated people.  What do young Americans grow up believing?  Yes, you guessed it, minority people are perceived to be dumb, villianous, criminal, and incompetent.  Why don't we encourage good role models for ALL of us instead?

good question!!i will not turn a calender over on the first day of the month.have to wait till 2nd,its a family superstition and i admit i dont know the thinking behind it.in fact,if i came in your house on the 1st day of a new month and youd flipped your calender over,id turn it back!no kidding!!!they love me at work........!wonder if anyone knows the reasoning behind this one?
