There are these small chickens they call Chicklets, instead of laying eggs they lay Chicklets. It depends on what type candy the farmers feed them as to what flavor gum eggs they will lay.
If they want them to lay wintergreen eggs the farmers or ranchers will feed the Chicklets real winter green leaves, as well as give them wintergreen flavored chicken feed. Or possibly they come from a plant that makes gum, like wichway suggested?
