    dowsa

MEL "what about Thomas the cat? did you discard him was he "Ugly you said "Handsome Iam "hurt
    Spaceghost

    Sorry to hear about Rupert.
    melandrupert

Hi Pamela Rupert dies two years ago he was such a caracter evey one knew him he walked liked a hoodie and also behaved like one! but he was certainly to reembered he was so naughty that when woman use to caome into the house he would insist that he went in the bathroom with them then you heard a almighty screem he use to try and pull thier pantys off this true! whilst sitting on the LOO we miss him so much thanks lol
    melandrupert

Thanks Spacey for your comment about Rupert as I said to Pamela he died two years ago and still miss him read my comment to pamela lOL

Hi Dowsa no My Thoams was very handsome cat a breader came round one day and said he was worth 1000.00 pound then relized he had been to the Vet and had them off she belived he was a Scotish wild cat because of his markings he was top cat in the house hold but mummys boy I will put a photo on for you when I get round to it lol

My real name is often confused for something else, misspelled, and otherwise mutilated.  I started saying "Bob" when asked for my name after ordering at a local Starbuck's.  It just kind of stuck and I use it often for simplicity.  When I tried to use it here, I was told I couldn't (someone or something is always telling me what I can and cannot do), so I added my real initials.  Good question!

i thought of daren2 but why settle for less!

    My sentiments exactly.

My "angel icon" is a symbol of good, means I am a good and caring person.  "I am"  means to accept me for what I am. "Pamela" is my real name, it means honey; all sweetness. "313" is the month and day I was born.

    dowsa

I could have told you that Pamela.I also love "honey 13th day thats not unlucky for you.Might be for all the guys here chating you up .have a nice day love from all the "Boys

Thanks, Dowsa & all the Boys! :-)

I was born at home and an aunt stayed a few days to help take care of me. My name is Phillip which she said real fast, sounded like Flip. Became my nickname until I entered the military.

    ole hipster

Love your answer Flip and what a great story to tell people! So-o-o what did they call you in the military? Inquiring minds want to know...(:
    Flip

@hipster: In the military you are most often referred to by your last name except for your closest friends. I never liked Phillip so have mostly used Phil for the past 50 years (but always liked Flip).

    What's it about? Do Tell!

I blame my dad, he liked Robert E. Lee and had a friend named Bob who died in WW2. I asked my parents to change my name because I don’t like being named  after a civil war general and a WW2 hero. They refused and as I grew up the name didn’t matter after a while.

    Yvonne57

That's a neat story to be named after 2 people like that.

So you knew the answer about his horse named Traveller? yvonne57
    Shootah

Hm...I tend to understand what you mean better than you think. I was named after a World War II general who was in charge of operations in Europe. When I was born my older brother had been studying about him.

    Love of classical music.

I'm an old hippy too. And we are a dying breed aren't we? I still have my Fringed Suede jacket and my embroidered Jean Jacket. They certainly don't fit anymore, there's still a rock in the pocket from a concert I went to. Gosh, what memories. Thanks for the info. regards/yvonne57
    ole hipster

From one old hippy to another.....PEACE...WHOLE LOTTA' FREAKS MAN! Yup, those were the days.....wish I had a dollar for every concert I was ever at....I'd probably have a $50 bill by now. I even remember bra burning in the 60's on the campus of the U of W in Madison Ws!

Nene is what my grandchildren, neices, and nephews call me.  When the oldest nephew could not pronounce my first name, he began to call me Nene, so the others followed suit.  The 43 is the year of my birth.

And what pray tell is your first name?

I use the same name for all of my sites so I don't forget it... Call me lazy...

Tommy (Thomas) is not my given name.As a little kid I had 3 uncles & 5 cousins & a grandfather all with the same first name as me,due to the Scottish tradition of naming one of your sons after you father.Very confusing at times.Hence I was dubbed Tommy amongst my family & it stuck.

That is hysterically funny. TU for you. yvonne

Greed, family, murder, love,FBI, and a hell of a chase. I research it for months. The story is fiction, everything else is a fact. If I say an eagle has 7,000 feathers, bank on it! Its educational. I just hope the FBI has a sense of humor. However, I did an on line search for making land mines. I decided some fool would try it so I left out a few parts. It's more of a family with a  love story. Not so much about the FBI, or technical stuff.

The main part is a surprise.

I can promise you it has never been written before.

It's being read now. I'm sweating bullets. When I get it sign to a publishing company, I can say more.

Thanks for asking Yvonne, I loved writing this novel. It was the best time I've ever had! I laughed and cried writing it.

The name is The Daisy, which may be changed to The Daisies.

    Thanks again.

I do a lot of shooting as a hobby. So, it was just natural. The pronunciation of the word is similar to how many words spoken in Maine often tend to come out of peoples mouths.

No, actually I was a boiler technician. They use to use big boilers to provide steam to drive the turbines that powered the propellers.

    TSC means THE STRIPER CONSULTANT.

Its a name I gave myself for catching Striped Bass on New Jersey shores.

Now that I moved to North Carolina I should change it to TFC.
