darn we all make spelling errors but I can't figure out some of these questions. Or is it me? Just Sayin

Maybe they skipped school...you can't spell either. If you want to shorten the word 'saying', you need to put an apostrophe at the end, sayin'.

The kid's are not reading Books anymore well some still do and you pick up a lot of spelling from reading and I think cell phone text messaging has a real factor in bad spelling !!

i am not too bad at spelling but i do get mixed up with words with ie and ei they learned us a poem at school which was a few years ago but i have forgot it perhaps you can help.

Taking your question to heart, I try really hard to spell words correctly. Sometimes I don't proofread my questions or answers, then later see an error just jump out at me. I have to edit immediately. Last year I was taking a course in business communications, and I was awarded "Grammar Queen" status. I couldn't let anything go, spelling, grammar/punctuation, etc. Horrible. You want a language nazi, the 5-star general is right here. I am chief of the spelling police, too.
