    ergonomics: when moving a heavy, wheeled object, (cart or machine) is it best (safer) to push or pull?

    If this is concerning a rickshaw, pushing may be easier. Although, you wont be able to see where you're going  and it may make your passengers uneasy.


    Personally, I prefer pushing because there is less strain on my back but if you have to pull, do it in reverse as long as you can see where you are going and it's not downhill!
