If you have deletedan email from your inbox, but haven't emptied the email's trash/ deleted folder, then the email is stored there and you can retrieve it. The trash/deleted folder is located in the sidebar under the 'inbox' 'sent' folders, etc.
If you've already emptied the trash folder after you have deleted the email, then the email is lost.
If it's an email you've received from someone or sent out to someone, a copy of it will only be saved with the person who sent/received the email (unless they too deleted it). Try contacting them for a copy.
