My daughter started 6th grade last week. She asked for "clorox clean-ups" while we were at the store. She said that her locker was filled with hatefull writings. DO I go to the school admin???
Some might say that she needs to toughin up.. But I think it is a rare thing to carry the innocents of a child into the teen years. I am proud of her for knowing she deserves better that foul and demeening lang.

Unfortunately,this is what the kids have to see/read,be the same as waiting for a bus ,the bus shelters are full of graffitti,train stations,shopping centres.As long as it wasn't a personal attack on your daughter don't worry.However it might be wise to mention it to the school to let them be aware of it as your daughter may get the blame for defacing the locker as she is the present user .

indeed it would be a bit of a culture shock for your little one, without doubt they weren't directed at her, the only thing admin. would probally do is just clean it up any how . unfortunitly jenn you can't protect her from the ways of the world but you can prepare her, probally best just to clean it up and move on.....
