      I've never hear of Acid Reflux being FATAL, but it sure is an uncomfortable, painful condition.  Also, if you don't get it under control, it can burn up your esophagus.

        Don't think its fatal, but it really sucks at 3 or 4 in the morning an getting a mouth full of  juice { acid}..
