The movement of the market for any given time period is predicated upon the number of sellers vs. buyers at that particular time. If more buyers are skewed on the buy side, the market goes up, and vice versa.
The general trend of the market is down these days. Hence, any buying on dips will eventually be met with selling into strength. I would be cautious about being "enticed" into buying in the near future. I would say late October will be a better time to revisit the market despite what happens on Monday.

I have a buy order if it goes down more. My gamble this week i hope is BAC Bank of America. I was going to buy a few weeks ago but obama kept showing up on t.v. talking about economy and the market kept going down. Buy BAC at 6.75. It will soon go back up to 8.50 for a nice profit. A tremendous buying opportunity of stocks coming up. There are billions of dollars out there waiting to be put back into the stock market. These investment companies just wont sit on the money too long.
