Naproxen is used for the management of mild to moderate pain, fever and rheumatism.  It is a prescription drug.

It's what is called an NSAID (non-steroidal antiimflammatory drug) designed specifically for reducing inflammation in diseases such as arthritis and many more....take with caution...try not to mix with alcohol...can definitely tear up your stomach, liver, etc....pretty much your whole digestive tract if you take without food and/or with alcohol....sooner or later your system is going to scream HELP!!!!!....read the cautions and side effects carefully!....(:

    NSAID..Aleve is a brand name I believe

    Poppy3

NSAID stands for non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. All drugs have two name a generic and a brand name. The generic name is usually cheaper when bought over the counter.
