    i have a cox modem and its only has one eithenetcored plug in , and that one is in use right now ,so i dont have any moe plugs for eithenet coreds. do i need a router or a new modem to be able to plug in the eithenet corred

      You would need a router. Cox does not offer a modem with wifi built in.
