How come there's a Miss Universe contest when there's never any aliens as contestants??

well its quite simple, to us americans we are the world. you don't see ant type of organized sports in north korea. if they want to put aside ther global ambitions and get together and put a ball team togeter, may be "kim jaun' could be coach.

Yeah, we Americans just seem to do our own thing, compared to the rest of the world, aren't we the only country on the old standard of measuring, we still haven't switched over to the metric system...

I suppose if they're any other base ball teams around the world that think they're better they could challenge the American teams, it's just the best players are usually where the big money's at.

I watched a little soccer when I was in CA, being that the Mexican guys I worked with we're always talking about it, or arguing, I figured I needed to learn about the game. I suppose you love the sports you grow up with when your a kid, most Americans grow up with different sports.

Anyway, I suppose if we all just put a little effort into each others culture, we will find some common ground to have discussions about. We just have to put a little effort into it.... Good question, thumbs up.

It's same, Americans are the only ones who call "football", "soccer". For the rest of the world, it's football. In Rome, do as the Romans do!

hey, there's a team in Canada too. So it's not just a played in the US. When it started centuries ago, the US was the only country playing baseball. Japan, central and south America took up the sport later.

Yes bulletman it is caled soccer in AUSTRALIA,and I think you should be more respictful to the country that not only rules the world, but also puts up the money to do so
