    Why am I being told to change wi network password?

    It's worked beautifully, and I see no need for a change especially living in northern Maine! The only networking connection I have is fde5.

      I can only guess that perhaps your wifi password has been comprised. Contact your internet provider and see if they can come up with a better answer or even the makers of your router.
