      why not using dawn most fish are oily , blood as well!

        Spray Hydrogen Peroxide (obtainable at drug store ore supermarket) on the stain.  The blood stain goes away in less than a minute.

          Blood  is usually removed with COLD WATER. Also the clothing can be soaked in cold water and rubbed.

            I would "Shout" it out and wash it in hot water and bleach.  Use bleach for colors or Oxidal if the clothes are colored.  Don't put them in the dryer until the stain is out or it will be set forever.  yvonne57
