    what does a steel pipeline from a irrigation pivot system weigh?

    Would like to recycle the scrap metal from my old 1976 field irrigation system pivot system. It is really huge and bulky for a 160 acre field. Just want to know if it's worth the time to dismantle it and recycle the steel.

      before you go through all  that is it rusted , whats the guage as well as the length? at 25 years old it might me be more work than its worth.. why not pull up apiece at random at see what kind of condition it's in as well as it' worth!
