Do you mean off line as in "work off line"?
Or off line as in you keep losing internet connection?
For the first option, try running a maleware program (maleware may have infected your browser causing it to go off line without you activating the work off line option) This program is free > http://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/
For the second option, if you have a router, make sure it is connected well and receiving good signal. If it is, then check your modem. You ca have your internet provider test the modem for you.
