      Its a drug used to treat high Cholesterol.

        High cholesterol. But, it has a lot of side effects. It gave me bad muscle pain. That is one of the common side effects.

          I have similar problem as Mycatsmom has.  Zocor causes muscle pain and muscle inflammation in my shoulders.  My doctor has changed it to Pravastatin which is milder.
