can we give up our council house and get one in another area
we want to move from london to bournemouth,my mother is over 80 and needs a more user friendly home,we think it would be very hard to find a mutual exchange,so was wondering if there was help from another source

Only the office of the council property can help you with this,you could put in for a transfer regarding your mothers needs and also anything medical concerning your mother may get you a transfer. If she has a medical condition ask Doctor to put something in writing and submit it to the office.The more reasons the better,can be a long waiting time though.In the meantime try a mutual exchange you never know somebody might like to swap properties.
