These are delicious and simple to make rice crispy cakes. quick and simple to make these are an ideal snack in general or for parties. Ideal for school bake/cake sales. you can also corn flakes. Warm the tablespoon over a flame or dip in boiling water so the golden syrup slips off easily, repeat between each spoonful.
Ingredients
Serves: 24
- 3oz rice cripsies or corn flakes (90g)
- 4 Tbsp Golden syrup (80g)
- 1 Tbsp sugar (15g)
- 1 Tbsp margarine (15g)
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins

Put 24 cake cases in 2 tins. Melt the margarine over a low heat in a saucepan. Add the golden syrup. Add the sugar. Remove from the heat. Add in the rice crispie's or corn flakes.

Divide equally in the 24 cases. Leave in fridge to set.
