The South stand is the main stand at Old Trafford, containing the managers bench area as well as the directors,television and police control boxes. Here,the seating slopes at a different angle to the rest of the stadium,making it slightly lower than the other stands.This stand is rarely seen on television as it contains the TV gantry, which looks North. The centre players tunnel was moved in 1993 to the South-west corner,although the old tunnel still remains.
