Need to know who is legally liable for for an error regarding a purchase of an automobile?
Purchased vehicle from an auction through a dealer in feb 2007,in august 2007 when in the process of trading it in for another one found out the vehicle we owned was in an accident in 2006 claim was not settled until jul 2007 so the car proof records showed no accidents so neither the dealer nor myself had any clue.car was placed in the auction by a finance co.insurance company updated their records and carproof(canada) in july 2007 when they settled the claim so now the vehicle is not worth what it should be.....
