If it is a real lawn equipment repair shop, and they are not on warranty, it will not be cost effective. Most cost less than the repair cost. If, however, you have a local repair guy, maybe retired, who works for less than union wages, yes they may be affordable to repair. If it is a fuel problem, from leaving old gas, repair it yourself. Go on YouTube and look up the symptoms and view a video on it. The guy "Donny Boy" I would highly recommend!
