JD had a couple of funny incidents in this country.He admitted on Australian TV that he smoked pot.He eventually apologised to the U.S. President for the gaff.On another visit he was apprehended by the police for riding a motorcycle without a helmet.(The helmet law had just been introduced).They let him off with a warning.( & a couple of autographs,no doubt).We still loved him.:)

LOL Tommyh. I thought you were going to say he was riding a motorcycle naked.
I've loved John Denver songs since I was a kid and Leaving On A Jet Plane is the first song I remember singing. He had a unique way of writing songs because he was so in touch with nature. He will remain one of my favorite artists of all time.
LOL....He liked his weed!
