      It's a matter of preference.  I leave the skins on the tomatoes when I make homemade sauce.

        Yes, but the skin and most of the seeds get filtered by the grinder's screen.


        As a kid, Labour Day weekend was the traditional tomato sauce-making event of the year. Good times!
